Orlando City Stadium Opens with Panasonic as Official Technology Solutions Provider and Partner
NEWARK, N.J., March 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company, a leader in implementing advanced technology solutions serving sports, entertainment and retail industries, showcased their technologies at Orlando City Stadium’s opening event last night, where Orlando City opened its third season in Major League Soccer (MLS) against New York City FC in front of a sold-out crowd.
Panasonic manufactured and installed the main LED video display – measuring 60-feet by 33-feet – equivalent to 2.5 soccer goals wide, by 4 soccer goals high – that adds to the fan experience providing opportunities to see instant replays, interviews and special happenings in real-time. Additionally, visitors can live track scores and stats and truly immerse themselves in the experience on the over 300 feet of ribbon displays and the 584 feet of pitch perimeter displays.
The main video board and pitch perimeter displays feature 16mm LED video technology for high-resolution viewing clarity. The dual fascia ribbon displays feature 20mm LED video technology, independently measuring 150 feet long by over 3 feet high.
